Have you met Handmade Fuzzy?

Handmade Fuzzy is a shop on Zibbet that has all sorts of nifty fiber arts creations. She also has a blog here on WordPress, where she posts some really great content on a very regular basis.

On Thursdays she posts a word search puzzle, and in Fridays she does a Spotlight post for Zibbet shops. She decides on a theme and then posts a lovely collection of items that are available from various shops on that fit the theme.

This week my shop made the cut, and I am so excited! Please go check it out and let her know what you think!

Spotlight Friday: arm candy.

Recipe: Simply Sloppy Joes, from scratch (Gluten free)

The hot weather of summer has hit, and my kitchen is not air conditioned. This means that I’m not doing a whole lot of cooking in my kitchen. My summer recipes use the grill, the crockpot, the microwave… anything to avoid the stove or oven! If I am using the stove, it’s for the shortest amount of time possible, making something that’s easy to do a double batch & that freezes well. I also try to make things that either use up the remnants of the previous year’s home-canned stuff or uses up veg harvested from the garden.

Sloppy Joes fit the bill!
